I am Jackson Kawande, a professional pianist, recording artist, performer, and songwriter from Uganda. I have been working in the music industry for a number of years. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music degree for Makerere University. I also own and operate my own recording label Wave Records. I started playing the piano when I was very young and since the I have developed a passion for music and song writing.
I have been able to turn passion into a successful career and today I perform on a regular basis as well as write my own songs and record albums. I want to inspire students to love music as much as I do! I feel truly blessed to be able to share my passion for music with my students and to see them become passionate about it as well!
