Position Summary
To strengthen our visual storytelling, Esom School is seeking a talented visual content manager with extensive experience to join our team. You will be a member of Esom’s Marketing Team, which is responsible for managing a variety of digital content channels that are aimed at demand generation, new market penetration, and, of course, brand awareness building.
The Visual Content Manager is responsible for directing the concept, development, and distribution of visual content required to support marketing efforts across all channels.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Determine a strategy for what types of visual assets will be required to achieve the goal of the customer encounter in the most effective way. In order to do so, you must have a thorough awareness of the changing range of information types (videos, static photos) and depths (360-degree videos) that are consumed, favoured, and ultimately influence customer decisions.
- Optimize and oversee the creation and dissemination of content from start to finish. Planning content development, shot list creation, budgeting, production execution, and dissemination are all aspects of the process.
- Maintain the smooth flow of visual production throughout the process, from planning to executing to approvals. Make certain that we have the appropriate assets in the appropriate formats (homepage, Twitter,LinkedIn, Pinterest and Facebook posts, desktop and mobile).
- Most preferably for the candidate is to execute the video production from scratch.
- Track and analyze video and other content usage to determine asset usage and provide recommendations on future asset creation based on data.
Visual Content Manager Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications
- 1+ years experience in a similar role.
- Comprehensive portfolio of relevant visual design work.
- Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Advanced organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of current visual content trends and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast paced environment and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy.
